Design and Build Quality: 

All three phones feel good in the hand, are well-designed, and have evenly distributed weight. Material used in construction is rear hardened plastic, and has a metallic frame.

Durability and resistance to wear and tear: The POCO X6 lineup is rated IP54, which means the phone can take light water splash and dust, but submerging the phone underwater is not recommended by the team of DIGITAL MAGIC GURU.

Display:

The phones look similar, and all three phones, X6 Pro, X6, and X6 Neo, are similar to each other only a Slight difference between them in dimension and weight: 160 x 74.3 x 8.3 mm, 161 x 74.3 x 8 mm, 161.1 x 75 x 7.7 mm, and 186g, 181g, 175g respectively.

Although X6 Pro, X6, and X6 Neo support AMOLED120 Hz display, only X6 Pro has HDR10+, and  X6 Pro and X6 support 68B, both have Dolby vision and support 1800 Nits brightness colours, and X6 Neo only supports 1B colours and only has brightness of 1000nits

Performance:

POCO X6 series comes with different sets of chipsets for X6 Pro, X6, and X6 Neo are Mediatek Dimensity 8300 Ultra(4nm), Snapdragon 7 Gen 2(4nm), and Mediatek Dimensity 6080 (6nm), respectively.
RAM and internal storage options.

  •  POCO X6 Pro comes with 256/8GB, 256/12GB, and 512/12GB (UFC 4.0)
  •  POCO X6 comes with  256/8GB, 256/12G, and 512/12GB (UFC 2.2)
  • POCO X6 Neo comes with 128/8GB and 256/12GB (UFC 2.2)

Benchmark scores and real-world performance.

  • The POCO X6 Pro: AnTuTu- 1396547(V10), GeekBench – 4696(V6)
  • The POCO X6: AnTuTU – 605803 (V10), GeekBench – 2945 (V6)
  • The POCO X6 Neo: 

Both POCO X6/Pro are quite capable and mid-range gaming phones, the X6 Pro’s performance is better because of MediaTeDimensityty 8300 Ultra.

Unlike the X6/Pro, the POCO X6 Neo is a functional smartphone with limited gaming experience.

Camera:

  •  The POCO X6 Pro comes with a set of 3 cameras: 64MP-f/1.7-25mm (wide), 8MP-f/2.2 (ultrawide), and 2MP-f/2.4 (macro). Which is capable of recording 4K@24/30fps, 1080@30/60fps
  •  The POCO X6 also comes with a set of 3 cameras: 64MP-f/1.7-25mm (wide), 8MP-f/2.2 (ultrawide,e), and 2MP-f/2.4 (macro). Which is capable of recording 4K@24/30fps, 1080@30/60fps
  •  The POCO X6 Neo only comes with 2 cameras: 108MP-f/1.8 (wide) and 2MP-f/2.4 (depth). Which is capable of recording 1080@30fps.

Image quality in different lighting conditions.

All smartphones of the POCO X6 series are capable and good in photography and videography. When it comes to low light, both X6/Pro take the lead from POCO X6 Neo.

 Battery Life:

The POCO X6 Pro, X6 and X6 Neo comes with 5000mAh battery 

The POCO X6 Pro has slightly better performance compared to the POCO X6. The POCO X6 Neo has comparatively similar performance to its other siblings (ah! I can write that right).

Xiaomi POCO X6 Pro supports 67W charging, which is good to have. The POCO X6 supports 33W charging, a nd the POCO X6Neo also supports 33W charging speed.  All three smartphones come with good charging speed capacity, but the POCO X6 Pro takes the lead here.

Software and User Interface:

The POCO X6 Pro will get two major Android updates, and POCO X6 and X6 Neo will get two major updates, and all sets will get security updates uptol 2028.

The Xiaomi smartphones have a custom MIUI Android skin, which some customers may or may not like. People have mixed reactions when it comes to custom UI.

The UI comes with 10 pre-installed third-party apps. It is basically unnecessary, and it’s hard to disable/uninstall these apps.

Connectivity:

The POCO X6 Pro and POCO X6 have almost the same connectivity support, 5G NSA, 5G SUB6G, 4G LTE TDD, 4G LTE FDD, 3 G WCDMA, and 2G GSM.

All models of POCO X6 support Wi-Fi 802.11 and come with Bluetooth 5.4 

The POCO X6 and Pro don’t come with a card slot, while the X6 Neo does come with h Micro SD (uses a shared SIM slot).

Security and Privacy:

All three phones come with Fingerprint sensors X6 and X6 Pro have under the display and the X6 Neo side-mounted Sensor

and will be getting three major OS updates until Android 16, and a security patch update until 2028 

Additional Features:

The POCO X6 and X6 Pro have a 120 Hz refresh rate display, 67W fast charging support, and Wi-Fi 6 support for fast wireless connectivity.y 

The POCO X6 Neo still comes with a 3.5 mm Headphone jack and an expandable Micro SD card, and is affordable.

  • Not as good as X6 and X6 Pro
  • The screen quality is not as good as the X6 and X6 Pro

Conclusion:

The POCO X6 Pro, X6, and X6 Neo are win-win for consumers according to their needs, whether it’s  performance, budget, or specific features that matter the most to them consumers
