Samsung Galaxy S26 series

There’s major news about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Recent rumors about a potential delay in the launch timeline now appear to be true. Multiple industry sources suggest that Samsung’s next-gen flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26, 26+, and 26 Ultra, may not launch in January 2026, breaking the company’s long-standing tradition. Instead, the high-end lineup is expected to arrive later than usual, hinting at a possible strategic shift in Samsung’s release schedule.
Samsung has reportedly made some last-minute changes to its upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup. According to recent leaks, the company has decided to completely cancel the Galaxy S26 edge variant due to weak market performance and declining sales in previous models. In its place, Samsung is bringing back the Galaxy S26 Plus, which had been absent in earlier rumors. Additionally, the brand is said to be making a few refinements to the base Galaxy S26 model, aiming to deliver a more balanced and competitive flagship experience.

Samsung isn’t the only company scaling back its production plans – Apple appears to be in the same situation. Reports indicate that Apple is cutting iPhone Air production by a staggering 80% by the first quarter of 2026. This sharp reduction suggests the company is nearly winding down production just a few months after the model’s launch.
As mentioned earlier in “Apple 2025 Lineup: The Good and the Bad,” several reports now suggest that consumer demand for the iPhone Air is almost nonexistent. With such a weak market response, industry analysts believe Apple may reconsider the future of the model. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising if Apple decides to discontinue the iPhone Air entirely by next year.
Stay tuned for what’s new in the upcoming Samsung S26 lineup
